A young woman walks into the coffee shop with an upbeat smile and introduces herself as Janice. This 15-year-old natural beauty is represented by renowned Canadian modeling agency, Mode Models International. Her sparkling blue eyes light up with excitement as she shares her story and plans for the future.

Janice became interested in modeling after discovering at the young age of 13 that she was 5'10. After carefully researching the fashion industry and agencies for a year, Janice signed with Mode Models International. A year later and an inch taller, Janice is ready to take the industry by storm. Janice chose Mode due to their amazing track record and placement of models not only nationally but internationally, which is a very important goal for her.

Although she is just starting out, Janice had her first big taste in front of the camera in the photo shoot for our magazine with Kyla Hemmelgarn. She absolutely loved the contrasting look of the dark makeup and all-white clothing. She's eager to begin her career as an in demand model and all the perks that come with it such as meeting a lot of people and travelling the world. Paris and Milan are on the list but the most important one is New York.

When asked who her favourite models are, a smile comes across her face as she simply states Lily Donaldson and Vancouver's Coco Rocha. Her reason for Lily is that she's "really gorgeous." For Coco, it is her signature face and recent accomplishments such as branching out into great business ventures. Inspired by the successful careers of Lily and Coco, one of Janice's goals is to sign with a top agency in New York.

Janice does not have a favourite designer but would love to walk in one of Prada's shows. She states that she's doesn't have a sense of style yet but believes that modeling would be a great way to develop it and be exposed to different influences. As for her goals within the next five years, she hopes to be walking in one of Prada's shows and experiencing all that she can in the industry. Ten years from now modeling is still the ultimate objective. If not, she would go back to school for business.

Janice is on her way up in the fashion world. She has what it takes to make it. Determination, confidence, maturity and her beauty are amazing qualities that will help her get there. Get ready world, here's Janice.
