Fashion, kayaking and Steely Dan; when asked what her favourite things in life are, new model Morgan definitively places these three at the top of her list. As much at ease in her rural childhood hometown as she is in front of a camera here on the coast, this self-described "country girl" turned urban fashion-lover is certainly full of surprises.
Life on the Edge
By KATIE MOGAN
Morgan is the latest addition to boutique agency, edge models. Her modeling book may be recently acquired, but this girl already knows what she wants from the industry and what the industry wants from her. Focusing on the task at hand, "working the garments" and keeping the crew energized are just a few of the tasks that she thinks about at every shoot. While this may sound daunting to some, Morgan finds the mere feeling of being in front of the camera rewarding. It this same feeling that helps ground her and guides her through the more difficult shoots. Her most recent exploit required her to perch atop a lighthouse in six inch stilettos, a feat made more remarkable by her fear of heights.
Back on the ground, Morgan trades in her sky-high heels for flats and denim. She opts for a "simple, chic and feminine" approach to dressing and counts Parisian powerhouse Chanel among her favourite labels. Modeling in the Roman ruins or gracing the cover of Vogue are dreams that she holds for the future, but in the meantime she aspires to play a role in encouraging young girls to have positive self esteem and a healthy approach to body image.
